Will of Judeth Harrison ~ 1837

In the name of God amen I Judeth HARRISON being of Sound Mind and Memory but in a loe State of health do make ordain and publish this my last Will and Testament in the following manner (viz) Item - I give and bequeath to Susan GREGORY my grandchild one bed one bedsted and furniture Item - I give and bequeath to my son Morgan HARRISON one half of my crop of corn on hand and some new feathers in a bag Item - I give and bequeath to Mali[n]da HUGHS my grand daughter two hundred dollars to be raised out my estate Item - all the balance of my property after paying my debts I give to my son Noah HUGHS Lastly I appoint my son Noah HUGHS Executor to this my last Will and Testament December 13, 1837. Judeth (her X mark) HARRISON {SEAL} Signed Sealed & Declared in presence of J. G. HUGHS J[unr] Polly CARTWRIGHT Camden County Court August Term 1838 The forgoing last Will and Testament of Judeth HARRISON decd was Exhibited in open court and the Executor thereof was proven by the oath of J.G. HUGHS one of the subscribing witnesses thereto and Noah HUGHS the Executor therein named approved and qualified as such ordered that the Will be Recorded and Letters Testamentary Issued Teste C. G.
